The Philippine Heritage Center, Inc.  is a grassroots agency, that was founded by a group of stakeholders who were able to see the connection between impoverished conditions in the Philippines and the resources that are currently available through private and publicly funded programs; as well as the need for a comprehensive resource center that is focused on serving Filipinos in New York and its surrounding communities. The organization attempts to alleviate some of the common burdens that are experienced by economically disadvantaged Filipinos while encouraging the preservation of Filipino histories and traditions.
