Programs

Our Planned Programs:

The Philippine Heritage Center, Inc. is a well-respected non-profit organization that attracts increase numbers of volunteers and higher level of contributions to support operations, delivery and outreach of programmable services and the establishment of a reserve fund for a cultural center.

Eskwelahan ng PHC:

A free four-weekend long workshop for Filipino-Americans and other individuals of other cultures from 8-18 years old. Its objective is to develop a better understanding on Philippine language, its history, culture, heritage, arts and crafts, music and arts and crafts which are being taught by volunteer teachers. In tangent with our cultural workshop, we will be hosting showcases where children can show off all their hard work on stage.

Adults teaches cultural dances, line and ballroom dancing which are being performed in any event throughout the year. Our focus will be to engage adults in the development in refinement of Filipino dance techniques.

Annual WalkAFun, Zumba / Picnic:

A summer event that works with every age, promotes fitness and camaraderie. It helps to energize, inspire people to get involve and to attract support that help advance a valued cause.

Pasko sa Nayon (Christmas in town):

PHC’s annual Christmas event, celebrates the most important holiday in the Philippines, a touching reminder of our Filipino tradition that many of us have much to be thankful for here in our community. It celebrates family joy, cheerfulness and camaraderie with its religious and cultural essence.

Annual Gala /Anniversary Event:

To motivate each other with great optimism for future programs and projects. To celebrate the successes that we have along the way and to rally more collaborative support from other organizations who believe in the sincerity of PHC’s mission and vision.

Disaster Fund:

To raise funds for environmental disasters and financial difficulties to assist Filipinos affected.

Charitable Outreach Fund:

To support other organizations with their charitable projects that benefit the people of the Philippines.

The Philippine Heritage Center, Inc. strives to serve as many people as possible with the resources we have available – every individual is important to our organization and we will not discriminate against anyone.
