About the Founder
Individual empowerment and self-determination have always been strong components of our founder Ms. Fely Perez, her involvement with the community has provided her with many opportunities to enhance her communication about the organization and programs and the need in the community , both of which are vital to the success of the organization. Ms. Perez graduated as Bachelor’s in Nursing in the Philippines, held numerous positions here in the US in Clinical Care, Management, Staff Development, Quality Assurance, Infection Control in the hospital/nursing home settings.
Our activities are overseen by a group of well-qualified individuals. Our diverse staff members have ties to the community, and thus possess the unique ability to relate to the target demographic. Additionally, our Board of Directors is comprised of a professional group of talented individuals who are dedicated to committing their time and resources to building a stronger community.

Our vision is to preserve and portray the diverse heritage of all the Philippine provinces under one vibrant cultural center that will touch the lives of many in the years to come. Through the effective collaboration of public and private partnerships, Philippine Heritage Center, Inc. preserves and portrays the diverse heritages of the Philippine provinces within one vibrant cultural center, celebrating the history and traditions of Filipino-American, touching the lives of many for years to come while addressing the socio-economic and intellectual needs with commitment, integrity and trust.
